Background
KOHINOOR TEXTILE MILLS LTD (KOHINOOR TEXTILE) has grown from a spinning and weaving project with 25,000 spindles and 600 looms to a fully integrated textile giant with state-of-the-art capabilities covering spinning, weaving, dyeing, printing, and sewing. Serving local and international markets in Asia, Europe, the United States, and Australia, KOHINOOR TEXTILE has long-term partnerships with brands such as PROMECO, Indigo Home, Exclusive LINENS, etc. KOHINOOR TEXTILE insists on investing heavily in technology and training human resources to meet market integration challenges by continuously searching, developing, implementing, and managing the most cutting-edge technologies, industry best practices, human resources, and innovative products and services.

KOHINOOR TEXTILE has always been at the forefront of the industry, setting new standards for excellence and sustainability, achieving sustainable development through water resource management and reducing carbon footprint, and fully complying with all applicable environmental, labor, corporate, and other relevant laws and regulations. Hoping to take advantage of greater market access through continuous expansion, all three factories are equipped with well-equipped laboratory facilities for quality control and process optimization. In the process of achieving its goals, KOHINOOR TEXTILE found that the factory space was seriously insufficient. The original warp beam storage method took up too much area and was easily damaged, which seriously affected storage and retrieval efficiency and affected production. In 2021, KOHINOOR TEXTILE sought effective solutions based on business development and efficiency improvement. After market research, SUNTECH was selected to start formal cooperation.
Honored Customer Journey
KOHINOOR TEXTILE has 70 years of expertise and experience in the textile industry. It owns 3 textile factories. The group also has cement plants, power companies, hospitals, fertilizer plants, etc., which reduce resource dependence and reduce costs. Now, home textile products are mainly exported to Europe, the United States, Canada, Australia, Asia, and Africa. In 2021, KOHINOOR TEXTILE and SUNTECH began formal cooperation. In this cooperation, KOHINOOR TEXTILE expressed the hope that beam stackers can save storage space, and make warp beam storage safer and easier to manage. SUNTECH's equipment successfully solved the problem of insufficient space by increasing storage capacity by utilizing vertical space.

SUNTECH puts customer satisfaction first. For distinguished customers, we have upgraded the VIP system and regard KOHINOOR TEXTILE as one of the most valuable customers, providing partners with better and more considerate services, from equipment life cycle support to local services. In this cooperation, SUNTECH not only helped KOHINOOR TEXTILE solve problems such as insufficient factory space, low storage capacity, and inconvenient management but also effectively protected the warp beam from ground wear. It is connected to ERP to achieve intelligent management of the warp beam.

SUNTECH Solutions to Help Out
Automated Material Storage Solutions
During our communication with KOHINOOR TEXTILE, we learned that their factory space is severely limited. The traditional warp beam storage method not only takes up a large space, but also has low storage and retrieval efficiency, is inconvenient to manage, increases operating time and costs, and warp beams are also at risk of wear. Previously, warp beams were stacked on the ground, which was risky to operate safely and extremely inefficient, affecting production. In addition, the warp beam storage process requires a lot of manual operation, which is labor-intensive and prone to errors, increasing operating costs. The automated material storage solutions provided by SUNTECH have increased the storage capacity of warp beams, solved the problem of insufficient space, and achieved the effect of intelligent management by connecting to the ERP system.

This beam stacker uses the vertical space of the factory to store textile materials. It uses high-strength hanging chains to achieve high load-bearing capacity and a 6-fold safety factor. Automatic chain synchronization and photoelectric detection ensure stable and safe operation. Its storage capacity, installation options, types, etc. can be customized. It can store warp beams, cloth rolls, and warp knitting beams. By investing in this beam stacker, KOHINOOR TEXTILE successfully saved 4 times the space and increased storage capacity by 600%!
