D. Samson Industries (Pvt) Ltd (DSI), established in 1962, is a market leader in the manufacturing, retail, and export of footwear in Sri Lanka. DSI was the first shoe factory in Sri Lanka to receive ISO 9001:2015 certification, reflecting its commitment to quality and excellence. The company offers a wide range of products, producing over 30 million pairs of shoes annually and employing more than 2,500 people. DSI's footwear is manufactured in five well-designed modern production facilities that utilize the latest technologies, including EVA, PVC/rubber injection molding, and direct vulcanization techniques. As a manufacturer that relies on natural resources as primary raw materials, DSI has actively embraced change by focusing on environmentally friendly materials, recycling initiatives, and the use of renewable energy.
