Background

Yunus Textile Mills, one of Pakistan’s largest textile manufacturers and suppliers, with a vertically integrated set-up located in Karachi, Pakistan, Yunus Textile Mills Limited has a production capacity of 10 million meters per month, which makes it the largest exporter of home textile products in Pakistan. Presently, Yunus Textile Mills Limited supplies its products to leading retailers in USA and Europe, for their private labels.

SUNTECH has built a strong partnership with YUNUS over the past 7 years. With the implementation of the expansion plan, YUNUS needed to find more labor-saving, space-saving, efficient and intelligent solutions for the factory. YUNUS and SUNTECH embarked on a fruitful partnership in 2018. At that time, YUNUS faced a critical challenge with warp beam storage during production. In response, they acquired two beam warehouses from SUNTECH, which quadrupled their storage capacity, accommodating over 100 warp beams. This initial success led YUNUS to purchase more than 20 additional Material Handling & Storage Equipment from SUNTECH over the following 6 years.

Throughout this period, Yunus also integrated 7 beam stackers from SUNTECH, resulting in significant efficiency gains. This enduring collaboration has been built on SUNTECH's commitment to providing customer-centric support and solutions.

SUNTECH Automated Material Handling Solution

To reduce labor costs and improve efficiency in textile warehousing and transportation, YUNUS sought Electric Warp Beam Lift/Transport Trolleys from SUNTECH. These trolleys seamlessly load, transport, and lift warp and cloth beams between looms and storage racks, requiring significantly less manual labor compared to the previous 2-3 workers per operation. With the implementation of SUNTECH's Electric Warp Beam Trolleys, YUNUS increased handling efficiency by over 50% and saved more than 60% in labor costs.

SUNTECH Automated Material Storage Solution

SUNTECH's Beam Stacker has over 5 times more beam storage capacity than the before, allowing YUNUS to store over 300 beams. As Pakistan's largest home textile group, YUNUS highly values product quality and partner reputation. SUNTECH's shaft library products are well-regarded globally and in Pakistan. This reputation led YUNUS to initially purchase two machines, followed by more in subsequent years.
